Extremely cool antique tall fur hat (beaver?) with a paper picture of Abe Lincoln put on the front. Most likely used a campaign hat. Found in Adams County PA just outside of Gettysburg PA. Hat measures 5 1/2" in height. When placed upright it measures 12" across. The inside of the hat says Youmans Broadway NY Albemarle Hotel Thackeray & Elliott Chestnut Street Philadelphia PA. There is a thick black band going around middle of hat. Black tape inside of the hat.  The hat box is a blue green and in very fragile condition. Numerous dents and scratches on the cardboard. Lined with newsprint dating from 1861 Philadelphia. Box lid also has old tape.
